Listening to the 20 plus year old collection of cuts provides very found memories of playing Third Strike at the University Pinball and Arcade in my neighborhood and in my bedroom once the game reached my favorite system of all time, Sega’s Dreamcast. Alex and Ken’s “Jazzy 99′”, Ibuki’s “Twilight”, Gill’s “Psyche Out”, and even the Player Select “Let’s Get It On” which featured Canadian underground rapper Infinite showcase Okugawa’s well versed knowledge of music during the late 90s. For example, the music for Akuma’s “Killing Moon” stage is a fusion of traditional Japanese music and drum n’ bass which makes for such an ill combination.
